Hate to say it but for some gamblers this isn't the case. I had a friend who would buy scratch off lottery tickets every day. If she spent $10 on some tickets and made back $4, she would say that she WON $4 instead of saying that she LOST $6.

I guess it's a coping mechanism.

I will agree with you there. My brother's friend from the Marines gambled quite often this past year and he always lost way more than he won, but somehow he insists that he is good at gambling. LOL!

Roulette is easy money... Never lost a dime playing it [EDIT: at the end of the day, overall]. I think I made $10K playing Roulette over the past 3 years.
