Just got my new laptop in

Its fucken nice...I love the tablet feature...

Still getting used to the keyboard layout difference and not having a widescreen monitor now...

I never noticed how wide the other screen was till now...its still awesome tho...

Acer doesn't seem like that bad of brand...Its a travelmate C300...1.6 ghz, 512mb ram...Built in bluetooth and shit...Great for my phone...

For now...Some things I found out that I love about this is the smartcard security feature...When i pull out my smartcard...It locks the pc...At both windows and bios level...Smart card has to be in the pc on bootup...

Sounds like a nice looking unit

I've had it on for about 4 hrs now...Its not even gotten hot like every other laptop I've had...To the left the fan seems to be kicking out all the heat...So thats fucken efficient for once...

ok... now call me ignant... but what purpose would a tablet PC have for someone who isnt a graphic designer? i mean... how the fuck do you type URLS and emails and stuff?

is it like a PDA where it recongizes your handstroked and can type for you? if so, that would take AGES for you to write an email i'd think... what am i missing here?

It has the same functions as a PDA or a on screen keyboard...

Its just a fun function I wanted in the next laptop I got...

And who says I ain't a graphics designer? Let me work on something for you...
