i think not so bad when sponsors get fuskered when the pics (with their watermarks) are on their own servers

it's worse when an affiliate gets fuskered, because they get no credit if the person types in the address and signs up at the sponsor site, so affiliates just get their bandwidth totally burned for nothing

htaccess and just don't number you galleries / images sequentially

They hotlink the full size pictures from galleries. I posted this somewhere else and got responses about the sponsor actually liking it. For branding??? I saw hosted galleries(all full size images) with no link to the sponsor. So, is it just me???

Very bad idea. You call it whatever you want but it is just kind of stealing content and cheatering.

Well my ad on their sucked. Notice if you are in Firefox the ad does not appear. I have converted this traffic on the 404 but it is very low grade traffic.
