p diddy, puff daddy, or whatever he is these days is a has been with no talent, he's never had any talent he just latched onto biggie and rode him to riches. this season he's trying to make a girl band, which means a lot of cute little white girls and the show sucks. there better be some fist fights if he expects me to watch this shit.

look at it like this, his clothing line, he designs none of it. he only says hey i like this or that and that's all there is to it. so he has good designers and people buy the name essentially not the clothing. musically he rode biggie and remixes of biggie and old cuts of biggie from the studio that even biggie didn't think were good enough to sell on an album. he took the fact that his face was all over biggies videos and then turned that into album sales about 2 times and since then he can't sell or produce shit.

everytime I hear this fool talk about his knowledge of the music business & start lecturing kids on whatever he thinks he knows about this week, I just wish someone would shoot him in the head :mad:

I'm actually excited to see this one. My best friend's sister got all the way to the finals before she was cut. She's half filipino and mexican.

Say what you wanna say about P Diddy but the man knows his shit. He's made stars out of alot of people and still is. However, he does have the reputation of pushing crap also. For every one star he's made, there's two more that he's got that are so fucking untalented it's ridiculous.

Simply, he's a marketing genius and I've respected him since day one! I knew about him back in 94 or so. Hot 97 was playing his stuff and he thru several events to get his name out there. He launched several careers before biggie, such as Mary J Blige and Jodeci. Despite what you think or others, he never rode on the coat tails of biggie! Sure he's got a team around him but ANY succesful business person doesn't do it all. He's got a ton of companies! It's about delegating to people who are competant and who can make your vision a reality. Sean John (clothing line) did $300 mil last yr... Do you think anyone can accomplish that? He's one of the hottest guys out there and he's 100% on top of his game.

Regarding Season 3... it's gonna be a #1 show because there's drama and cute girls. Actually, I watched all seasons... this one is gonna be good :2 cents:

Not to mention the fact that he's actually been a positive force in rap music for the most part. Aside from the gun charge, he's done more positive things for hip hop than most others combined.

Dear Haters:
What P. Diddy does is called good business.
Do you expect him to sew his clothing line by hand? Do you expect him to run an empire by himself? Getting his name up there WITH biggie was a smart move. If you hate a man because of this, then you're probably living in your mommas basement hating on people you don't know.

Making the band 3 ... is another story.

He's sold more than 100 MILLION records worldwide - the majority after Biggie was killed. He's multi-talented as an artist, producer, designer, businessman, etc. You might not like him, but to say he has no talent(s) is just a foolish thing to say, IMO.
