Do you know how to Pre-sell?
I remember when I first started out as an adultwebmaster I would build gallery pages for free sites and tgps without really knowing how to pre-sell my sponsor's sites.
What is pre-selling? Pre-selling refers to informing and encouraging your surfers into visiting your sponsor sites so that by the time they hit the link with your linkcode in it they are excited to see the site you are sending them to. Most times surfers must feel like they are at a casino when they click on links... "Hmmm not sure what it means by More Amateurs HERE but lets just see..." Recently I went through all the freesites I have built in the past and smiled to myself as I could see my progress from when I first started out (there was no preselling on my pages) to when I got really good at pre-selling. Here is a page that does not do much pre-selling: Example gallery with not much preselling Here is a page I think is a great example of pre-selling: Take a look at this great Pre-selling page HERE How many adultwebmasters do you think will click on the links above? Did you? Are you going to? I bet you alot will, I did a great job preselling them! :D I am sure both pages get sales but which one do you think converts better? Here is a another secret: When you spend the extra time preselling you are not only helping to increase your conversion ratio of people that visit that page but you are also creating text for search engines... and over time all that additional search engine traffic makes a HUGE difference in the amount of money you make. Believe me. Your homework today is to think about how well you presell and concentrate on spending more time preselling instead of rushing to build your gallery pages. Now all this assumes you are using sponsors with informative tours that convert... I like reality and amateur style tours because they have storylines that can make it irrestible for some surfers to join. An example of what I am talking about is the reality sites from topbucks. Those reality tours are awesome and updated often which is important when it comes to selling memberships. |
It would have been a nice and informative post, but I can't help seeing it as spam with that ref code at the end.

PornHero - :thumbsup Great post man ... I learned something from it and it looks like it can improve my bottom line.
I look for posts from this guy. He is real and down to earth and giving real useful information. OMG there is a ref link in his post !!!!! - Good, with the kind of information he just gave me I can see putting it to use where he has. He took the time out of his day to give me some information. If I was not already an affiliate of Topbucks I would have clicked his link and tried to accomplish his level of success with his suggestions. Would he profit from it? Absolutely and as well he should. The internet is an information highway. Wether we are informing people of the best soap to buy or informing them of the girl that takes it in the ass and sucks the guy off afterwards it's all information and thus should be rewarded. By clicking on that link he would be rewarded financially for giving someone good useful information. Again :thumbsup to you PornHero. |
nice post, with my pre sales text ive been trying to drop the keyword phrase into it once or twice and it works well for SE's and once or twice in the footer of each page. It takes a while to find the right balance of keywords to text and to make the text sound good to the surfer as well as the SE so you neglect neither. Easier said than done, nice post though !

Thanks for the big-ups :thumbsup |
Am i the only one who realised he just "pre-sold" us his topbucks affiliate linking code?
But really, it's a good post. I think the more info the surfer has before they hit the tour, the better. |
**bump for a great thread**

:1orglaugh Seriously man, good information on the presell. :thumbsup |
I am very strong at pre-selling but your post was a good read regardless.
I want to add you don't want to over sell. Let your surfers know what they get in as few words as possible. I see some pre-sell pitches that are to lengthy. The surfer wants to get off not read an article. |
I think it's a fair trade...if someone gives out valuable information; and, in return, people sign up under his ref code.
I'd like permission to put this on kblogger..ref code and all....contact me..pretty please. Raven 27331641 |

wow nice blog you got there Raven, hows about we trade blog links? I just added you to my icq. :thumbsup |
Great post and hell with the moron ;-)
I've been stressing this for years...people bitch and moan about conversions and then I'll take a look at their page and they just have little more than a "Click Here" link and wonder why the surfer could give a shit about the site when they get there (and then of course that affiliate hits the boards screaming about shaving and how it's the sponsors job to sell the site). |
