StatsRemote.com rips people off.. $300 a year to view stats? C'mon now...

What sponsors do you guys want in this $20.00 program?

I wouldnt consider it a rip off.
They just offer more and constant updates.

it costs money for them to update and maintain that program, usually i am willing to dish out a few hundred bucks a year for a quality product

i myself wanted to make a statsremote replacement

but do you have the slighest idea of how much work is involved in parsing all the sponsors stats? this is extreeeemely tedious and youll be at it for months. i dont even have the patience to gather databases of tgps..

In any event, I was looking into offering an alternative as well. Unfortunately the programmer I know can't do it as he is involved in too much as it is.

If you are doing the programming part and only want to focus on that I'd be happy to partner up with you.

You would have been better served to announce you are working on a program that you plan on marketing for less then the competition. Calling Stats Remote a rip off wasn't needed.

you get what you pay for. stats remote is one of the best business investments i make every year. i dont know about you, but saving 100s of hours a year is well worth $300

Are you serious?? with the avg webmaster using like 30 programs or MORE...checking stats by the 15 min mark saves hrs every day..

I like to see my ratio 1:11 1:20

If I see any program that has that and jumps to 1:30 1:50 Then I know to change out my links.. Saving me money and time knowing that at that 15 min inervul I saved $$$

To expensive? StatsRemote is a LOT of work, its cheap for 29,99$ when you manage a ton of sponsors.

cracking access database take about 10sec

Its $360 per year btw, and its not a rip off. People who cant afford to pay $30/month, dont need such soft.

mind you this is sitting on the users computer

if youre gonna crack that database you probably already have access to their box anyway
