the content of a dialer is the most important...?
Ok well I'm new to dialers... but it seems to me that no matter if you're on GIB or whatever -- if the surfers don't like the content that you are sending them to see -- then you're screwed...
Why is it that so many dialer companies don't focus on the content hardly at all when it seems to me to be the #1 prioriry in making money after that initial connect? I looked inside the members area of one particular (nameless here) dialer and I saw banners to other paysites, advertising information, and even links to freesite toplists! These people are paying a lot of money to connect -- who will stay connected if it's just more of the same shit they could have seen on the web anyway. Well I'd like to hear what people have to say about this... It seem to me dialers should focus on a niche... like "pornstardialer" or "analdialer" etc. etc... I'm no dialer expert -- but this seems like a common sense necessity for holding the minutes... duh! The inside of our dialer program has NO advertisment at all, 0, null, nada.
Just plain, easy to select hardcore slides in various categories. I think that is the way to go. They never stay longer than 60 minutes anyway, better focus on good content. How much can you watch in the 15 minutes average anyway if a pic is about 50 kb and you're on dialup? We do have many ppl that come back for more... 1 more thing. We do also have the live chats and such, but that is through another program, we get less a minute and they provide the content. Downside to that is that every paysite has almost the same old chats from interclimax (they are good, but EVERYbody uses it), which makes it overexposed.

Yes content in a dialer is neccessary, obviously if you have a Teen site then you need a Teen dialer. Most of these Generic dialers that go to a massive hardcore site arn`t really relevant unless you have a massive hardcore site to promote it http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/smile.gif.

The content is almost as important as the dialer itself as far as I am concerned. We have a TON of content on about every niche you could possibly think of. We have games, movies, chat, audio stories, probably about every nich you can think of is in there. BUT we have not one spec of ads, banners, or anything of the kind. It's JUST content and that's it. If they are paying that much money then they damn well shouldn't have to be bothered with alot of banners slowing down the loadtimes and getting them discouraged into leaving and not coming back.
Weh ave alot of things in ours that holds their attention so that they will spend more time on our dialer.
