US people cook 2 times a week at home
 

thats hat i read in the news today. Is that true?
Don't you cook some delicious dishes at home? We eat at least 5 times a week at home.

all the fat americans eat out that much, i cook at least 2 times a day at home

us Americans like to eat out :)

US ppl also work too much and don't take vacations

but twice a week sounds about right. . . if school/work slows way down I cook more. I try to cook whenever I can.

not only fat people like to eat out

I enjoy cooking ..I would be broke if I ate out all the time

why is that? Maybe because its cheap?
We pay about $35 for a very average dinner here, How is that in the US?

I cook at home between 10-21 times a week. (6-7 if just dinner).

As far as costs, it costs a great deal more to eat out than cook. A very typical eatery such as Olive Garden, Apple bees and so on is about 13-17 bucks per entree dinner, not including drinks or appetizers. Hit more on the mid upscale end such as a decent steak house or sea food place and your looking at 30-60 per entree dinner, not including drinks or appetizers. I am also sure it gets a lot more expensive in bigger cities.

Well you could always get cheap food but who needs that. If your dining out in NY you always have a great spot to go to, and its not always cheap food is very important to New Yorkers so it could run from anywhere from $35-85 it depends what u wanna eat.

I'm not a big fan of dining out.

i eat out 3 times a day, ROFL :) shit i gotta get a wife.

I eat out a lot but I am not fat. Thank God I have a high metabolism, I was blsessed with good genes. I have been eating as much as I want my entire life, tons of ice cream, burgers, loads of crap and I still weigh under 100 lbs.

I feel sorry for people who gain weight all the time, even though they eat much less than me... Life is good!! :thumbsup

My wifey cooks.... she makes steaks for lunch and a sea food dinner....I can't complain.

That explains a lot.

I cook nearly every meal at home now. It's too easy to get fat eating out all the time.
