WTF is this?? Firefox problem.

If I visit this page for example in IE I have no problems:
http://www.fetishlinks.com/ethnic.html

When I load it in Firefox it does not display 1/3rd of the total links.

WTF is this?? I have the same shit with many other sites... Does FF display only a max amount of xxx links or what?

tungsten 03-01-2005 03:53 PM

i had to wait a bit.. whats the last line supposed to be?

flashfire 03-01-2005 03:54 PM

last site for me says: "Mostly solo outdoor shots."

psili 03-01-2005 03:56 PM

I could see nothing wrong. Perhaps it just doesn't like a line too horizontally long ? What happens when you break up that HTML with some "\n"'s ?

what do you mean? taking a look at the source gives me basic html
nothing fancy or anything... just curious

Trax 03-01-2005 03:57 PM

if that would be the problem it would be a pretty gay one... It is done like that to save BW by making the code as short as possible... also why does it list the descriptions then and just doesn't display the links??

justsexxx 03-01-2005 04:00 PM

Strange, even when I checkout the source it looks different...

In firefox it shows

<a href blabla then end </a and the description. So it makes sense. However, IE shows the correct source..Strange indeed

DX 03-01-2005 04:01 PM

you got one line that's 51,341 characters long..

that'd be my guess.

SmokeyTheBear 03-01-2005 04:02 PM

check out this if your using firefox 1.0

Strange indeed, first time I see this. Is it doing a browser check or something as Andre says the source is diffrent? Or is FF just fucking it up?

tahiti 03-01-2005 04:06 PM

click right :: view page info :: links

seems like there're some typos after 'Big Black Wet Pussy"

psili 03-01-2005 04:06 PM

I removed your font tag = arial and the page seemed to load fine. Maybe it doesn't like a huge nest of unclosed tags and eventually just reached a glitch point. try and close your font tags, or since you're using a stylesheet, try <p></p> tags since you're worried about the html footprint.

Today we learned about line breaks....

Trax 03-01-2005 04:12 PM

thats indeed a big fuck up and very poor html...
hope that's the reason...

if you were really concerned about bandwidth, you wouldn't use font face="Arial" 292 times. or STONG and /STRONG when B and /B would acieve the same thing.

Trax 03-01-2005 04:26 PM

cuz the crap is taken from a database that was maintained differently by the previous owner
lets say I was unaware of it lol :D

SDSimon 03-01-2005 04:27 PM

Your html is broken. IE is very forgiving about sloppy code. You need some help with your html.

If you need help finding your broken code, download this free HTML checker.

http://www.htmlvalidator.com Good luck. :)

stops here for me too and the last half is not clickable.

iwantchixx 03-01-2005 04:42 PM

some sites that have long pages do that in firefox. I've noticed it too and it's a pain in the ass.

swedguy 03-01-2005 04:49 PM

Was it because of the lack of line breaks?

If that's the case then I think I might need to look over a thing or two :winkwink:
