I am selling the site http://www.ParisHiltonHacking.com. The sale INCLUDES the domain, and the site. I've decided I don't want to mess around with the whole celeb game, this was my 1st and last celeb site so I'm selling.

I have tried to provide as much details as I can about the site. READ CAREFULLY, and keep the :2 cents: to yourself, it's worth more than that :)

1. The site has only been in operation for 6 days, basically ever since the tmobile hacking took place. The site has recieved 4493 unique visitors in 6 days and counting.

2. The term "Paris Hilton Hacking" was mentioned on CNN (in writing) a few times when the story broke out. If you look at the stats provided below, the 24th - 26th had huge surge of traffic, which were all type ins because of CNN mentioning "Paris Hilton Hacking". The site is now getting 200 type ins per day after those huge surges.

3. The site has recieved 35 SE hits since it opened 6 days ago. 34 of those hits were people typing the URL in directly, most likely from the CNN mention, so I would not count on the SE hits being there anymore. However, the site has gotten listed on a few different high PR sites, so I would not be suprised if it ends up with a decent PR soon.

4. Basically, if the site was still getting the 1500 type ins per day everyday that it was getting when it was mentioned on CNN, it would be worth in the 5 figure range. The traffic is decreasing and it is settling around the 200 type ins per day. It may go lower, or it may go higher. Don't go thinking you will buy this site and it will go back to 1000 type ins per day or anything close to that. It won't, unless it gets some press. I am just being honest here, I want both parties to be happy with the sale.

5. Finally, the site is really nice, great domain, great design, if you are in the celeb game, it has good potential. Chances are there are more things coming out about Paris, so this site might be a good one to build around. If you don't know how to get celeb traffic and convert it, you shouldnt buy this site.

Well, I have a feeling that we have not heard the end of the tmobile hacking thing, and Ive heard xpays is coming out with the lesbian pics of Paris later? So there is still a chance to capitalize on it.

My Paris hacking traffic has been dropping by 50% each day. Unless you optimize it for general Paris traffic, it will go down to basically zero pretty soon.

I doubt this will go to zero...LoL...but I agree with you that the type ins will decrease.

My guess is it will end up with a PR of 3 in a few weeks and be getting around 50 type ins per day and stabilize around there. So I would look at it in those terms. 50 type ins a day and some SE hits, a nice design and nice domain and whatever other traffic you can muster up from blogs and such. :)

i know alot of people who got 10's of thousands of hits during all this stuff and they where converting 1:5000 1:10000 with the cell phone hack traffic

Just like there are people still typing in PamelaAndersonSexTape.com, like 7+ years after the fact, people will probably be typing in this one as well a few months from now. The story won't die, and as soon as there is another tmobile hacking, this one will be rejuvanated for a short time. Well, I agree with you, the traffic is not the best converting traffic out there, which is why i said in the post buy this if you are familiar with celeb traffic. I am sure there are people out there who can convert celeb.

There are alot of so called webmasters in this thread who don't know the difference between type in traffic and link trade traffic.

If you assume that each unique type in hit is worth just 10 cents, which is a rediculously low valuation for type in traffic, then this site getting 200 type ins per day would be worth $600 a month. If you assume a sale price of $600 x 3 months = $1800. So $1800, and that does not include the design. So the top offer is $400 right now, hmm, thats a steal IMHO.

Smut.com gets just 800 type ins per day, sold for $250,000. Granted Smut is in a different ballpark, but just illustrating that 200 type ins per day is pretty damn good.
