Is there a way to capture streaming video? I need to capture some video for someone.

Try WMRecorder

There are a few Windows shareware apps that do this with varying effectiveness. For some of them and with certain web sites you have to also figure out the real stream file names depending on how they launch. It can be tricky and some streams are easier to capture than others. You might want to try googling for Windows Media Recorder, which I have used and some others that I came across- like HiNet Recorder, and Streamdown.
