Yes - You are correct - Levi's Attorneys did try and get it back, but the Judge threw it out of court.

Levi Strauss own the Trade Mark 501 ..... but not 501s .... and since we ain't selling ( or proposing to sell Jeans ) they can't sue for passing off.

So anyone got the balls to take a punt on this one ?

But you are trying to profit by sponging off their brand name, a butt site called "501s" would get you right back into trouble with them. Levis is a VERY agressive company when it comes to web stuff, I wouldn't go there.
