What is Epassporte like? Opinions?

I tried to apply for an account a couple months back and for some reason it rejected my Visa and MC, so I gave up, but I'm willing to try again.

Can you wire money into it? Can you wire money from it? Do they suspend funds like paypal used to or still does? Any comments welcomed, cheers

pretty cool.

Yes you can wire funds to it, and no they don't suspend funds.
I've been using it quite a bit, saves me a lot of hassle, fee's are more than reasonable.
Great service to :D

Used to be a nightare to deal with and very little money. Now the system is improved and the number of people using it has increased a lot. I would give it a :thumbsup

Epassporte is very useful especially for adult webmasters...unlike Paypal it doesn't suspend any adult transactions.

Works great get sponser payments in to your account and use the plastic card to pay for all your shopping no expensive checks to cash:)

I like Epassporte, but there are many threads on GFY from folks who say they *HAVE* had their accounts suspended. Apparently, there are fraud-detection processes that sometimes flag certain accounts for some sort of paperwork ID verification. As a consequence, some people have complained here of being unable to access their funds for long periods of time. Others have griped about poor customer service during this unexpected and unwelcome process.

All of which is third-hand rumor from sources that may be suspect. But there are enough anecdotes to make "they don't suspend funds" appear unlikely to be true.

It has its pros and cons. Overall I like it.

Thanks for your informative post, I thought I had heard things, but I guess you shouldnt put all your money in one basket anyhow. Now I just need to learn how to wire money into it.....or out of it come to think...
