What was funny about the joke Chris Rock directed to Sean Penn, "My accountants would like a word with you"?

I am not even watching it. I gave up on watching a bunch of people that worked hard over the year receive "awards" when i can be off trying to earn my own "rewards" for my hardwork.

yea..wtf was that? Maybe he meant to say "lawyers" *shrugs*

People watch it is because we feel we know them personally, and for them to win is almost like we are winning.

I have it on to use for light as I try to get out 300 more idiotic words for a class essay. (have to write an essay like a letter as if I am writing it to the artist, and yes this is a university essay)

Yeah I didn't get that joke either.

Earlier in the show he had 2 huge black guys come out and said they were his accountants...and that they took care of his finances, no matter what it took...

christ guys.. what rock was saying is simple - " I HAVE MORE MONEY THAN YOU SO SHUT THE FUCK UP !!"

thats how those with money talk to one another - your not doing any acting, your poor - you have no right to comment on acting or me because your worthless
