I know, it's shameless self-promotion, but I got a kick out of making the site and anyone familiar with Sklanksy's poker books might enjoy it.

The Story...

Some resourceful Party Poker players recently discovered a poker bot named "saabpo" playing the $20+2 single-table tournaments 24 hours a day. This resulted in a circus of observers watching saabpo defeat his inferior human opponents.

The thing is, saabpo used a ridiculously simple algorithm to beat these monkeys. While no one has all the data -- except the creator of course -- saabpo seemed to be making a profit.

I understand that GFY is full of part-time poker players, so I figured that anyone familiar with some of the more popular books might get a kick out of saabpo.com. Enjoy!

SO NOBODY PLAYS THE PARTY $20+2 SNGs WHERE "saabpo" PWNED THE HUMANS?

Party Poker let this fly? That's why I don't play online poker for cash anymore. Fucking cheaters all over the place.

As far I as I can tell it only lasted for a week or two tops. I noticed "saabpo" in my $20+2 games this week before I found out "he" was most likely a bot.

To tell you the truth, the bot's strategy was nearly identical to that described on my stupid website ( http://www.saabpo.com ) -- and easily exploitable. That's why the idea of this bot playing didn't bug me so much. He would fold everything but AA|KK|AK to a minimum raise.

But a zillion people emailed Party in the last 2 days to have the situation resolved. I wouldn't worry about it. It's in Party's best interest to actively seek and destroy such anomalies rather than let them exist.

I still play there.
