A webmaster once said some things on his blog that he now regrets- and has since removed the comments. But I saved the pages.

Can I publish them?

But what good would that do me if the webmaster in question goes directly to my host?

I found this bullshit in the first amendment handbook:

Make some comments about the article, and it should be fair game. But Hire an attorney first.

I would hazard that the material that you saved is his since it came from his blog and therefore you need to seek his permission before posting it. Otherwise he may be able to get you with copyright laws.
