What should we get for dindin?

So yeah..it's getting to be that time of day. Time for dinner.
What should Tony and I get?
I could go for some Chinese, but then again we have chicken here that we could put on the grill and barbecue.
I need to make a decision.
Help!

TurboAngel 02-26-2005 04:49 PM

I was just thinking that. It sucks you have to pay for it, lol, but it's easier. I want some pork fried rice. YUM!

Adam-EB 02-26-2005 04:50 PM

We're grilling out tonight... hamburgers, hotdogs and sausages!

Peaches 02-26-2005 04:51 PM

I made jerk chicken from some spices I got in Jamaica, salad, strawberries, beaujolais nouveau, and coffee with chocolate rum cream in it - YUMMY :)

Muff 02-26-2005 04:51 PM

I just had some fettucini alfredo with some garlic bread and cheese! Try that :)

oh man i would love that.
actually what i would love the most is a pizza hut pan pizza with extra cheese mushrooms, black olives and ground beef.
but then i would have a super back gallbladder attack. no thanks.
i haven't had cheese now for months.

Toss the chicken into some tequila, oil, lime juice, crushed garlic, and some cumin. Let sit.
Mix up a quick salsa [caned tomatoes, serrano, cilantro, cumin, red onion, garlic, and salt]
Start grill.
Wrap some flour tortillas in foil to heat latter.
Grill up the chicken, toss the foil packet on the grill when almost done.
Serve with some cheese, the salsa, avacodo wedges, lime quarters, and some cilantro.

I want some Thai, but I'd have to drive into town to get it. So I'm eating Pringles instead. :(

To much work, that is about 15 minutes of prep. time max. Basicly everything would be ready by the time the grill is up to heat.

If you want the beach, St. Simon or Sea Island are both nice and driveable :) If you want to drive a little further, Gulf Shores and if you want to gamble, Biloxi.

Have you been to the Aquarium and other stuff in Chattanooga? Andersonville is really cool. LOTS of forts in GA if you're into that. Pensacola has a cool naval museum but I'm not sure if it's back up to par after hurricane Ivan. US Space museum in Huntsville AL is fun too :)

I love to go places :winkwink:

yeah we went to the aquarium in chattanooga and we didn't like it at all.
we went thru the whole thing in 25 mins.
id' love to go to washington dc, but you can't see everything there in 2 days.
we just really want to go to epcot, but i don't want to go during spring break season.

Peaches 02-26-2005 05:26 PM

Find someone who will walk you through the aquarium! We go during the afternoon on school days - the field trips are gone by then - and if you get someone who will walk it with you, or at least find someone near each exhibit, they will show you things you would normally miss :)

If you want to do DC, just focus on a couple of things for 2 days and don't try to do it all. Heck, we spent 2 full days at the Smithsonian and didn't see 1/20th of it :(

we would prefer to see a larger aquarium.
yeah we were thinking about going to dc and just going to the smithsonian. i went there when i was in 8th grade and want to go back. maybe it would be more doable to go for 2 days and only go to monuments.

TurboAngel 02-26-2005 05:48 PM

That was sooo good, thank you hun I don't thing we would have had Chinese if you hadn't said something. Boy I miss NJ I worked at a Chinese place, doing the phone.
