Question about TGP gallery layouts
 

how come on most tgp galleries, the top banner/logo isnt linked?
like heres an example

I would have linked that top New Sensations image, but they didnt.
is there a reason not to link that top image?

could be because some tgps have a limit on the number of outgoing links allowed in a gallery

That must be it, cause the most clicked anything is what is shown 1st typically. It where you put the item you're selling.....

I think most surfers doesn't click a header, but they will most likely click on text..

Never understood why designers would put links at the bottom or make it hard to understand where to click???? Maybe I just don't get it??

Since there are some hot pictures on that gallery and knowing that many surfers cum top GFY all the time, figured I'd pick up some extra traffic on a Saturday afternoon.

if its a link limit, then why not put the link on the top and take out the one on the bottom?

it would be a blind link anyway, that dont converts into sales

the surfer is going to scroll to the bottom of the gallery to click the pics, it's good to have something down there for them to click instead of just clocing the gallery. plus there are 2 links up towards the top already, a text link and a banner.

:thumbsup Once they've checked out the last pic, a 'click here for...' text link usually works well for me
