Anyone eat octopus?
 

I saw this website where some guys grilled an octopus. It looked pretty good. Unfortunately there aren't too many octopus in Lake Michigan (that I know of) so I did a little search on Google. Sure enough, there's a company that will Overnight Fedex you an octopus. Their prices seem pretty damn good -- and its even pre-cleaned.

I don't eat sea food, but my husband loves seafood tacos with octopuss..YUCK. Even seeing it on his plate makes me gross out!

YARGH! I eat the blubbery stuff. You might be wanting to try Squid gizzards too!

I'm planning on grilling one (or two) this summer. When I do I'll be *sure* to post some nice high-res pics on GFY :thumbsup

No i havent, i didnt like it for some reason but i know alot of people who do and they love it, so its a matter of trying it and see how you like it.

I had an octopus dip in England. It was very good.

That and squid........ revolting.

octopus is good, i like squid better though. and not the squid rings. the little head part with all the tenticles. that shit is great in pasta, on pizza, deep fryed, or hell, just about any way you can make it.

Last year when I was in Cancun I ate a lot of seafood spaghetti. It had octopus, among several other sea creatures in it. It was delicious! I ordered it at least 3 times while there.

Yep, my hubby likes that kind of stuff too. Cancun does have some really good sea food, if you like that kind of stuff :)

Eww no...my stepdad is Puerto Rican and my mom makes his this octupus salad that they eat there...and it's just nasty....the entire house smells of that....NASTY..... :disgust

Octopus and squid are very similar in texture and taste.

Octopus sushi is great with a little wasabi underneath and some lemon on top.

You can get Octopus at about any Mexican Seafood Restraunt, they usually serve it in a cocktail with other seafood like shrimp, abalone, squid, etc.
