its the lead story everywhere. sick fuck who i think wanted to get caught. BTK stands for 'Bind, Torture, Kill' - he started killing girls in Wichita Kansas in the 70's - then disappeared - then earlier this year he began to write the police letters with personal belongings of some of his victims. this to me means he wanted to get caught finally.

This is very often the reason criminals get caught. They want the attention..they need to tell someone what they did.

The sad part is, he wont get the death penalty, He is like grandfathered in, since the crime happened when Kansas did not use the death penalty.

I also believe for he wanted to be caught, since he was leaving so many clues these last few months. The big question is why did he want to be caught, and I can think of 2 reasons.
1 He is getting old and doesn't want to die with the murders on his mind.
or
2 He wanted to have all the media attention, and for people to know it was him before he died, to continue his sick way of thinking....
