Winblows XP help plz...
 

Hey,

I installed Windows Xp Pro on my second hard drive.
First I formatted it in Win 98 and then installed it clean.

So now I have Windows 98 on drive C: and Windows Xp Pro on drive D:.

There is a problem

I can't get XP to start.
It works in safe mode but will not go into regular
I installed the newest drivers for my vid card in Xp and still nothing...

Drive C and D are two different hard drives not just different partitions.

Check your boot sequence in the bios.

It shows a dual boot screen...
There I select either XP or 98.

98 works great cause im typing now...
But XP is shit!

1. go to http://search.support.microsoft.com
2. select windows xp in the drop down list
3. type "boot log" in the search box

try this troubleshooter

hey everybody reading this, stop what you are doing and make an emergency repair disk.

what's with all the boot problems? must be a full moon...

you may need to upgrade your hard disk firmware. check the hard disk vendor site.

I have a new IBM 40 gig...

use windows 2000

stay in safe mode, is much safer there
