I need to help the other half find a job.

He's had some experience, he's in school to obtain his degree in UNIX/Linux systems administration, he's a perfectionist, and he's more than willing to learn. He doesn't fuck around, he does his job and does it well and doesn't tolerate anyone who interferes with his job or his ability to do his job to his exacting standards.

He would have to be taught what to do and how you want it done, but he's a quick study and won't need any repititions.

Preferred location is California, but honestly, he'd be glad to work just about anywhere except the south. (We have had all of the Bible Belt that we're willing to take.)

Don't know of many hosting companies willing to train techs... that sounds like a nightmare waiting to happen. But good luck regardless.

Thanks guys. Sly, he used to do this for the Navy, he'd just have to be taught how to do this for your company. Some folks have different ways of doing things. :)

Seems he has some experience and spending the money to go to school and get that piece of paper. A good company should snap him up. Could also do some freelance stuff in the meantime.
