need questions answered for own merchant account...
 

My uncle is interested in setting up a reservations page on his site to pay and reserve rental boats online for a business he owns at Lake Powell.


I want to know which way would be best for him? should he setup a secure page to collect customers addresses and credit card info or setup a 3rd party online merchant account to collect this info?

I don?t know the best way to go about this for him?

Any info appreciated? thanks

depends on how he wants to handle it.

3rd party processing = higher fees but less trouble.

own merchant account = lower fee's more headaches.

have him check out 2checkout.com and make a decision from there.

I think he may go with his own merchant account with secure server

He should get a merchant account through Netbilling and they provide the secure server too.
