fuck why is this shit so common.... why can't people just fucking do things right.. its not so complicated... you are paid for a service... you complete that service.... its obvious that you have the skill to do the site judging on your portfolio and the free banner contest you had out.. so why are you dirtying your name by fucking around like this???

he came back, and said the design would be done tomorrow.... he then took some exclusive pictures which he needed to complete the design... and then dissapeared again

It's possible he's just having trouble meeting the deadline and trying to hide until he's done... Design can be very time-consuming, and it's hard to predict how long something will take. :2 cents:

don't send 100% of the money ... always send like 50% for starting and anther 50% when the project is done.

lesson learned.... i just didn't think someone would fuck over a business potential by fucking someone out of only 400 bucks.... since with his banner contest he already had people wanting to buy designs from him... and he obviously has the talent to do it.... meh....

yep, i know a couple peaple that are lazy and dont get shit done (not saying any names)

I got the same song and dance about his connection problems... and how he's about 80% done with my templates. What a freakin' jackass... I was fucked, but like I said in previous threads... it was only for $150.

It's unfortunate, but I'm at the point where I don't want to do business with anyone that is not within an hour drive of me.

What would be cool is if there was some sort of payment program where you can wire money into a holding account so the other person can see it's there yet they don't have access to it until you give them an access code to get it. This way, they can do the work and prove they've done it and you can send the money to them at the same time they send you your product.

From this point on, Qman is a deadbeat scammer. I hope the measly $150 he got from me goes a long way in his country because I'll make sure this scam is attached to anything he tries to do online from this point on. What a jackass...

He just got back to me on icq as of 10:20pm EST. He said my work is near completion. So, I will give him some time prove himself. If he does come through, I'll make a post retracting my statements and clearing what I can of him name.
