i make $400 per month from referrals

not bad.

For close to two years I was getting on average 500.00 a week from my clickcash refferals. Then magically it all just stoped last year. Every so often I get a check for the minimum payment but it is all from like tier 2-4 people so I have no idea what the fuck is up.

I do know some programs do not actually pay on refferals unless you yourself also send traffic and sales.

It looks the same, checks cash the same, and it spends the same way. I see no reason for it to be sad. Not everyone did it sigwhoring and if a sigwhore did, good for them they found a way to make money doing what they like.

I agree, except for the sig whore part. Same thing that affiliate program owners do, they rely on affiliates to bring the traffic. So whats wrong with referrals bringing the money in? :)

I have at least 10 referrals, but only 1 of them actually makes me any money...

I made $4 dollars so far this week... maybe someday I will beable to retire from webmaster referals but not this month. :1orglaugh

Any revenue stream that can produce profit and not create a bill, is worth doing, its all about diversifying.

I make nothing promoting programs and quite a bit in referals.

Doesn't mean I didn't work for it.

We have a good amount of webmasters than earn $100+ every pay period.. Our largest is $600 every period just on webmaster referrerals.

I send a lot of affiliate clicks to sponsors but almost no sign-ups. I'm thinking most of them must be confused surfers.

I read all of the post here and have a bunch of comments... being that I just started a project a couple months ago that focuses on generating revenue through referal money. For those of you who do not know, my website is www.teamclickcash.com I am an affiliate for clickcash and i also advertise to other webmasters who are looking to make more money by switching to them.

My comments:

Can you make money referring people. ABSOLUTLY! I am making close to $500 a week and have only been trying for about 2 months now. My goal by the end of the year is to make $10,000 a week.

I see comments like "it's free money" and " i have 100 people signed up under me but i don't make much money" etc...

How many of you contact the people who signup through you and actually help them ? The reason why you have 100 people signed up and none of them are making money is because you get them to signup and then pray that they send in a lot of signups. 99 out of 100 times it does not work that way. If you help them, with general questions, designs/ads, tips, support, etc... it will make a huge difference.

If you are serious about making referal money then actually put effort into it and build it like any other business. Webmaster referrals is a whole market, source of revenue, that is totally untouched.

The best part is if I am making $10,000 a week then I know the people I am helping is making a combined 100,000 a week and I have a lot of happy new friends :thumbsup Total Win-Win Situation.

I have people under me on Clickcash and I have no idea who they are. Does clickcash share the info with you?

I have about 30 people signed up under me on different things and I make $30 a month off of it.

Right now xpays is hot so I have 10 people there and this will be a big month at 30-40 just on xpays alone. But getting $1 a sale is stupid to work for when I can do real work and get $30.

No you can't get the info from clickcash,thats why I don't send them straight there. I send people to my site and explain to them to signup to clickcash first them come make an account through my site so you can get access to my members area.

As you know people can make a lot of money with clickcash. If you refer someone that makes 5 free signups a day, YOUR cut will be $150 a week... just from 1 person sending 5 signups a day. Since they pay you 10% of what they person under you makes and since they pay out a lot of money for free signups, there is a huge potential to make referral money through their program.

I made $1500 last month from one program. Which was nice. :)

Referrals have also been good for me. Its easy cash. Might as well say see sig, if you want 15% referrals.

I used to make $7500 a month off of my webmaster referals and that was at 5%
