Wiggles 02-24-2005 06:00 PM

it bothers me more when people say 'seen' instead of 'saw'.

"I seen him yesterday."

What the hell is a wabmaster?

GFY is made up of mostly English speaking members. If you don't want to get shit about your broken English, go to a board where English isn't the native tongue.

I know the difference and I *still* type it wrong all the time!

Mental block with that one for some reason. Sucks when you absolutely know better. LOL

Oh, trust me, 99% of people who speak english fluently still make the "lose" and loose" spelling mistake sometimes. I didn't want to start a "you're a dumbass" thread. Just something funny about it.

I think most ot the most common mistakes like then/than, your/you're and the other are made by US people. To most foreigners they sound completely different and I think we think before we write :) at least I do. If there's a word I'm not sure about, I look it up.
But I think grammar mistakes are more common among us foreigners.

ProjectNaked 02-24-2005 07:55 PM
