anyone familiar with ATI TV wonder cards?
 

picked one up for a real good price, it was working I know for a fact, anyway, i tried to install the drivers and software for it, but now I don't see the card in device manager (windows xp) and when i install the software, i don'rt see it in my start menu, any ideas?

the card itself is "not bad" but the software they provide is complete crap.

Uninstal the drivers and find the most updated ones form ati's site.

Don't bother installing their tv tuner software tho. it'll never work right. Go buy a 3rd party app like power vcrIII

My BEST advice to you though would be tor eturn the card and purcahse a Hauppauge PVR card. They actually work right out of the box.

Also, if you have an nvidea graphics card you'll NEVER get the ati tuner card tow ork proeprly on a daily basis. You'll always be uninstalling and reinstalling stuff to make it work
