Exactly, these e-mails are usually revenge e-mails.
I've had at least 3 different sets of them, ranging from cp to just plain mail bombing. It sucks

Received a few of those the other day - spam continues to get weirder...

If it was a "revenge" spam, they should next time tout new .CP domains and setup a bogus pre-registration site too ... I'd bet some folks would think it was real and enter their credit card#, etc to beat the .CP domain rush :1orglaugh
