AFF ads are so unstable....
 

They keep going down, I'm pushing it everywhere and when this happens either my sites stop loading or they load without the ads, making me lose money. I'm still doing great with them, but why cant they fix it? :mad:

Then watch your money drop by 90% - Thats the amount mine fell by when AFF banners had a problem last time and I switched them to ACC for a day

I dont think any other program has the huge member base and custom geo ads to make as much money as AFF makes for me. I just want that shit up all the time.

i occasionally get an image not loading, but other then that pretty stable.

The geo ads have been fucking up a lot lately. :(

When the geo thing is down, your site(when using Iframe) will be very very slow as well.

Create a page aff.html put your aff add in there. Now iframe aff.html. It will be still an empty area when aff is down, but your mainpage will load fast now..

Thanks for the tip, I'm using the javascript code, that's why the sites are not getting slow, but I have an empty space. And that is costing me a few hundred $s ... :disgust

why is the AFF rep. not responding in this thread???? the geo script ads are still down..... Only the geo ads provided by lars are running smooth, but they don't convert as good as the script ones.

justsexxx is right; creating a seperate html for the geo ads will keep the traffic loss to a minimum and will allow you to swich ads fast, especially when you have a lot of pages ;-)

The good thing about SexSearch geo ads is they are not in an IFrame. They are image based. I prefer that myself.

This thread was not about spamming other programs. AFF is the best BY FAR, if only they get those servers running!

Its not just the geo ads.. ITs the system overall. Something is buggy.
I dont use thier geo ads and my joining members numbers are way way low as if something is really wrong..

Things are way overloaded over there..

But with AFF only working at 70% its still better than anything else out there.. If there were anything else they would be hurting by now loosing a lot of thier webmasters to the competiton.. But in this case there is no competition.. Everyone knows AFF is the Best....

There is sexsearch which is the next closest thing, but in no way is their database gunna be close to aff, the tour alone looks way to skinny or not real I guess you could call it..

But Id be intrested to compare the numbers nonetheless..

But for now, even with AFF only working at 70% capacity, in my opinion its still the best and only option out there for this niche... If another company could step up and provide what AFF does there would be a huge adult market licking their lips to promote them.. But I just dont see it yet.

AFF is still #1. But damn, the hosting issues have been an issue since well before internext. :(

But again even so, nothing beats AFF.. Im confident they will fix these issues and we will be back on track yet again shortly.

I have something simialr lined up with a dating site, with similar promotion methods. They are looking to enter adult traffic market and are a LARGE dating site company.

They are intrested in both you and lomik and your other inside family members..

They are even willing to pre-pay you what ever you make from AFF for a test month to test you guys out.

Its serious..

Hit me up. This may be a good month to try it.. It would not only set ya with some good cash and test another program, but would put the AFF recurring to the test as well.

Just for 1 month. Pre-paid. They know all about you and your traffic and I had a long sitdown with them.. I suggest you try it for a month. More money in the family pocket.

My geotarget ads are not comming up at all. my pages are running sloooooooooooowwwwwwww because of it.
Here are some of the problems I am having right now.. If I could get some help it would be great..

It is not getting my location right and when I click on it .. It says Monroe Louisiana.. I am in Arkansas.

I set it up as couples looking for couples and it brings up Women looking for Men??

and when it brings it up.. There are no pics.. like no one has uploaded any on that page.

Now just to set the record straight.. There is NO BETTER PROGRAM than AFF...Hands down..They rock!! We make AMAZING money off of their progam and have for over 5 years.
I just need some tweaking done.

I've been talking to Sagi and he tells me they're working hard on fixing the problems.

btw I read in my stats area that they're investing another mill on servers so my hopes are up ;-)

You may be right about the loading/bugs, but I suspect a lot of the recent decline is that since the appearance of the geo ads, everyone and his brother is promoting AFF. It was always a high-profile sponsor and my join ratio has slipped steadily over the years because of that, but the geo bandwagon has made the situation many times worse. Not only are many more people promoting AFF, but the ads are effective, so there is less chance of grabbing people who don't already know what you are selling.

You are also right about the competition. AFF may not be very convincing to any but newbies, but other sponsors really don't seem to understand the appeal of dating/personals sites and design their sites accordingly. As an example, IWantU was good back in the day and long overdue for its overhaul, but the new front end - IMO - hasn't got it right at all.

hahahah AFF whomps ass over every other Dating company out there. It will just be a short time and they will ahve more servers online I am sure. They are still by far my best converting sponsor hands down !

I have flipped back and forth several times regarding my thoughts on the oversaturated idea. I think there are so many new surfers coming online every day that it doesn't matter how popular a sponsor is. Even a program like AFF that most people have heard of, you just have to make your site the one that finally makes the "old" surfers join even if they have seen it on a dozen other peoples pages.

Regarding the occasional server problems, as I 've said before AFF seems to be doing their best to play catch up to deal with the phenomenal growth of their program especially since geo was introduced. I bet other programs would like this "problem".
