Had one of my busy surfer boards hacked and he went through and changed the sigs on all my most prolific posters sigs to "Download the DVD free" with the following url:

http://www.icoonet.com/?adv=dvdloader&p=1

I assume his login is "dvdloader" and I hope you drop him and keep his money.. dammit, I can't figure out how he did it, pissing me off :mad:

god damn message board exploiters.. now I have to migrate 2 million posts and a hacked up board into a newer version of IPB, gonna take me freakin weeks.. grrr..

always do pay attention, this was a good stable release.. and then I modded the shit out of it so it's nearly impossible for an easy upgrade.. anyways, not like I have to keep upgrading my board to make sure some affiliate goes and hacks his codes into my surfers sigs.

I just checked the link structure in their marketing section and that is correct.

The p=1 is for their 45% revshare + 5 cents per Icoo Loader install program.

....why don't you use proper board scripts and patch them? i.e vbb or if you want free phpbb?

ipb has more features and is all around better than those, except when it comes to security and server loads I guess.
