V_RocKs 02-23-2005 06:55 PM

Check my sig.

Antonio 02-23-2005 06:55 PM

I don't think they're worth much right now, but keep them for couple of years, and who knows you might be able to make a buck or two selling them.

polish_aristocrat 02-23-2005 06:56 PM

i would let them expire..or wait, you just registered them yesterday

MBS Auto 02-23-2005 06:58 PM

tungsten 02-23-2005 06:59 PM

i dont think they are worth more then the reg fee :(

V_RocKs 02-23-2005 07:02 PM

techhelp
salescenter

Possibly be worth something 2 years from now when they are IN DEMAND. Currently they are not and so many variations are available. Remember, .com's didn't start taking off price wise until the variations were gone. Then you HAD to pay someone to play ball and people did pay someone just like you a few grand to a few million.

Shoehorn! 02-23-2005 07:05 PM

What is .in supposed to stand for?

V_RocKs 02-23-2005 07:06 PM

.in stands for KICKASS!

Also, India

Nope, I was quite serious.

From a purely type-in traffic perspective, I would say generally not very good, even assuming that .IN will be a popular extension in India. You never know though. I'd host or park them somewhere to test for type-in traffic, and reassess in one year when it comes time to renew. If you were to hold just a couple and drop the others, I'd keep triplex and tollfree. (No idea of "toll free" is an expression used in India, and if not then scrap that too).

Well, they could be worth a bit if something is built on them that the search engines like that directs traffic to your main pages:)

Some should do fine. I've read that 100-200 million Indians are fluent in English, with maybe 350 who can speak "Hingish" (slang for a combination of Hindi and English). Hindi would be a better pick, but English isn't bad, with certain words more likely to be typed in English than others (porn, sex, cricket, etc.). There are also other significant languages spoken in India, with 25-75 million speakers, like Urdu, Punjabi, Tamil, and Bangladeshi, and over a dozen other less-popular but still "official" languages.

Is that what they speak at 7-11 on the east coast?
