Do drinks chilled outside taste better than fridged or is it just me?
I just got some apple juice out of the trunk of my car that was there overnight. It was so cold and delicious! For some reason, a drink tastes better when it has been chilled by mother nature as opposed to being chilled in a refrigerator.
Am I the only one that noticed this? |
its 76 here right now man, i wouldnt know
i will tell you this, sun brewed tea is better then any other method of brewing. |
i agree - just pulled a 6 pack out of my car (its about 28f out) & it tastes daaamn good
|
Not sure about factory sealed drinks, but water always tastes like shit if it's been in the fridge for more than a couple of days.
|
Oh yeah, no chilling here... it's 7am and it is an uncomfortably warm 24C (75F), expected top 35C (95F)

cant do that in AZ...except on the other spectrum, coffee/tea perhaps ;)

We used to leave our cases of beer outside in the winter, (in MI) - nothing better than a snow mound to chill your cold-ones. :thumbsup
|
never mentioned a difference
i have to watch out next time |
Iced down longnecks are shizit!

I too have noticed this phenomenon, with soda however.
Kept it outside the door during the winter and drank it and it seemed extra cold and good... |
they are colder outside in the winter here, so thats why its better
|
Beer in a Ice Chest full of Ice, of course, taste much better than if it was in a fridge. Especially when you have the ice chest next a bbq with Carne Asada on the grill :thumbsup
|
i have some bottled waters outside.... i think your right BFV,,,,,, cuz when i drink em i feel like im sippin a fucking pure glacier of goodness.... but out the fridge its half as good.
