Automatic Thumbnail Preview processing, ELITE!@#$
here's a sample of a script that's being built by several of us (a new type of TGP system).. Okay take ANY picture gallery and enter it here:
http:// videos.filthyhooker.com/test.php?website=http://your.picture/gallery IT AUTOMATICALLY THUMB NAILS IT :) |
It amazes me how people can fail to grasp the problem with any sort of automated thumbnail generation.
Take for example a TGP. Your selling point, or advertising, for each link is the associated thumbnail. It onlys follows reason that you would want this to be the best possible thumbnail. I've yet to see any thumbnail generation script of any sort that can make a better thumbnail that I can, every single time. Imagine if you had a brick and mortar store. Your sign out front would be your face to the world. Wouldn't you want to make sure that sign was the best it could be? Would you be satisfied just having some store randomly generate a sign from a list of words? Of course not. The long and short of it is that there's no short cuts to doing a job right. |
LOL, I don't know if this is a joke or serious, but your script spits back my 404 pic...
|
Hurry up and get that Open Source TGP script finished.
|
anyways if the script is good it is a good idea to use it when you don't have the time to pick up the best your self :)
|
groundbreaking stuff.
|
wow, oh my gosh, jeez....wow...i don't know what to say....a automatic thumbnail generator, gosh, why hasn't someone come up with this before?

this should work http://videos.filthyhooker.com/test....ersex/334.html |
I see one image. You arent even filtering and looping over the images in the doccument? what is so elite at < 30 minutes worth of code
|
actually, this is even more idiotic that I initially thought.
IT AUTOMATICALLY THUMB NAILS IT --- The pictures on the page were allready thumbs.... You selected a random thumb? just grand. Let me refine my scripting time estimate to 10 minutes. Do you even filter to find which images are thumbs and which arent? or do you just specify what the prefix to an image will be in your script. Keep up the good work! |
sickbeatz is a bot. he never replies to his own threads.

Hey ho, guess what. I just tested the script on a random gallery... nothing. It seems your method of selecting thumbs is by searching for images with predefined names. That or you you just specify an absolute name straight up.
xthumbnail-orig-image="gallery031.jpg" -- hello there mr. tag. Seems the script only works on galleries with you in them. How is this useful for any sites that dont use those tags? |
