Remember to always remove the cap from your lens before taking pictures. Otherwise, you'll get a black image :thumbsup

Also remember to put the memory card in.

I forgot once and shot half the night without one. For some reason the canon d-30 acted just like as if the CF card was in. No warning no nothing.

Needless to say I was pissed because I had (or thought i had) some good shots. :-(

other stupid things i do include keeping the dangling lenscap in the frame of the picture, or putting my finger in the pic. :1orglaugh

yeah the finger in the lens often makes an appearance in my pics

i've left cap on once, forgotten to put in memory card once... worst of all: i was shooting a classic car show, shot for a good hour, opened the camera to put new film in, realised been shooting with no film :mad: hey..you learn from your mistakes :thumbsup
