Sending wires online??

Is there a service that lets ya send wires from the internet? Or a bank that lets u do that???

facialfreak 02-21-2005 05:35 PM

Hmmmmm ... I don't have an answer to that, but I would be curious also!

I prefer ikobo, Moneybookers, and epassporte though ... my bank charges me $14 to receive a wire. :(

Amex International Payments, for international stuff :winkwink:

paypal and moneybookers and others allow this..

Don't know if I would trust doing it online, even through my bank. Better is to setup ability to fax instructions. A bit more secure, and as convienent as doing it online. Most banks will do this, you'll need to go down and sign a form to allow it though.

andrej_NDC 02-25-2005 05:37 PM

I think Im back in 1995. Is that really something new? I got it automatically to each account since 1999 or earlier, dont remember exactly.

Doc Herbal 02-25-2005 05:37 PM

I know at least a couple of them, www.loyalbank.com for offshore and in my country every respectable bank has an online service, www.ba-ca.com, www.raiffeisen.at and others

Paparazzi 02-25-2005 05:59 PM

my local bank let me send free wires within Europe :thumbsup

sirrobin 02-25-2005 06:24 PM

Most banks in Europe let you do wires via online banking. In the US, you can only do it with certian banks and even then the payees have to be pre defined.

Nima 02-26-2005 03:49 AM

if you have an account at bankofamerica they have an online wire system. it rocks!

The US is still stuck with manual Checks ;)

I send wires within EU for free from my account and outside EU for about $8. It's easy and have been done so online since '96 :1orglaugh

Most half-decent banks with online banking allow you to send wires online...

Tytan 02-26-2005 08:03 AM
