Hunter S. Thompson, probably someone you all have heard of because he was the writer of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, has died. Sad day.

I'm not surprised he off'ed himself, but I'm a little surprised by his means. Blowing his own head off... just seems a little more violent than I would've expected from him.
