CellGuy's Mobile Madness III: Barcode Chocolate
Nippon COMSYS Corporation and Mary's Chocolate co-developed a technology for printing 2D barcodes (QR Code) on the surface of chocolates, reports RFID Japan.
"This technology could be used to allow consumers to access a website by taking a picture of a chocolate using their mobile phones". At the moment, QR codes can only be printed on white chocolates. Note that QR codes themselves are also made of chocolate." --------------------- Ok its not adult (unless its a chocloate tit. :winkwink:) but expect to see this kind of stuff been incorporated into websites providing direct access to a WAP site without having to punch in a long WAP url on your cell..... Say a chocolate firm want to get you to 1) buy a bar of choc and 2) go to a wap site to say win a prize then putting a barcode on the chocolate that you can 'snap' with your phone, achieves of these things...but the real applications are here:
