WMV to pal or ntsc?
 

I have some WMV movies on my HDD. I need to split them.

On this pc, I don't have the software I use normally, my question is, I can choose the type/broadband/lan/modem etc, well that is clear.

However, I can choose the format as PAL or NTSC.
It will be used for the internet. What do you suggest?

Or does this only have todo with the height/size?
pal 700 kbps is 352*288
and NTSC 7000 kbps is 320*240 and both will play on any system...

Both play on PC's just fine.
Pal = 24.9 FPS
NTSC = 29.97 FPS

You should split them however they were captured, i.e if they were captured in NTSC, save as NTSC or you'll get frame skipping. Use G-Spot http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ to determine the current FPS and codec etc.
