Wow. I didn't know there were recordings in that thread. It's sad really. But then we knew surfers were taking over this board when the "Would you hit it" threads started popping up every 2 hours and all getting 3 pages or more of replies.

Now everyone is refreshing the thread waiting for XPays to make there announcement.

Harassing people over the phone just because they'Re celebrities is fucking childish.

Sure the thing is funny, but to a point.

Now GFY's infested like never before and it'S not going away.

Most probably don't fall into a single catagory - I do programming etc and ran a few sites but also like a bit of amusement..

I think unregistered users were just blocked.....

Actually, you have your facts wrong. That's unique pages views, so if someone clicks every page of the thread, that's 20 on the counter.

Known surfers get booted from GFY.

So if I refresh this thread 10 times, there will be no additional views registered (due to the refresh, not counting other people seeing it for the first time) by the refreshes?

Actually, the GFY counter doesn't count uniques correctly. If you look closer, you'll notice that refreshes count as well, and always have been. Go to 30-day old threads and refresh 10 times. The counter will increase accordingly. :winkwink:

Refreshes sure count. Try this with very old threads that you know no one will access in the next minute or so. I just did, and the counter sure does increase :thumbsup

It's always been like this, I don't know why there's this notion that only uniques count.
