Microsoft Media Edition

I know a lot of you hate MS, but I am looking into hooking up my TV and speakers to a central server/pc desktop so I can stream music to any room I want...

Any first hand experience with Microsoft Media Edition? It seems to be exactly what I am looking for.

software is easy to obtain..but you need a pc with a decent video card...etc..

but you need routers...etc...

you can design your own rooms etc..
