TrafficCashGold = BIG TIME ERROR.

Did anyone realize when they refer someone to traffic cash gold that the join page has no prices?!?!!?

How will this affect conversions if a user doesn't know how much they are paying for a service.

For example if you go to:
http://www.bigtitpatrol.com/?wm_login=mybb

and click on the join page... NO PRICING NEXT TO MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS.

However:
if you go to
http://www.bigtitpatrol.com with no webmaster refferal ID. the pricing is there.

What is going, we need an explanation QUICKLY.

Its been like that for a long time. Per bigjb on the TCG board 12/7/04

"Thru our trial and error if surfers hit a TCG site by type in
traffic they are very concerned with pricing so we display it.

On affiliate links we have found that conversion % is 3-4% better
by leaving it off first page ,, more like instant gratification. Although
not a giant point any way to get better conversions is a plus for
everyone.

Thanks

Personaly I haven't seen a huge difference. When they first made the change several months back I thought my numbers dropped a bit but I could have just been having a bad week. Things historicaly seem the same for me now.

I trust TCG to make the right decisions in regards to these things as its money in there pockets as well.

What would be really neat though would be an option for the webmaster to show or not to show pricing. Im not a coder so I dont know how hard that would be to implement or if it would even be worth it.

I worked with TGP for a while and this shit converts !

Trax 02-19-2005 10:34 AM

didn't even notice that lol

My joins have been relatively unaffected. However, I mention the trial price (although the old ones at $2.95) on my creatives before they hit my site.

which would prove that paying 2 bucks more or less have almost zero effect on the surfer.

Pete-KT 02-20-2005 02:00 PM

Thats stupid I would never signup without knowin the price

groark 02-20-2005 02:04 PM

I didn't knew this..

bdld 02-20-2005 02:19 PM

it hasnt affected my conversions. neither has the change from 2.95 to 4.95 trials.

V_RocKs 02-20-2005 04:59 PM

I think it is BULLSHIT.

How long to their cookies last? Perhaps they are hoping they will convert into bookmarked traffic when the cookies expire?
