I was reading a book called "Good to Great"
 

One thing it stresses on is if you have an employee whom you need to constantly manage, you need to get rid of her/him asap.

Great companies are built on the people who are self sufficient and don't have celebrity CEO's.

Great book....find the right people, then give them the best seat :thumbsup
