How about a section on your board where you have different catagories of interest for the webmasters so they can opt-in to what they want to be marketed or spammed with.

example:


put in your ICQ or Email number for whatever catagories you want information on

Content Processing Sponsors software
_______ _________ ________ _______

this way you will put people in the industry together with one another better and they wont call each other "Spammers"

dude, seriously, with a board with over 50k members, you are going to have to expect a few people calling you a board spammer every once and a while when you post company new

just ignore it and move on

agreed.... trust me with the money that this website generates.... i'm possitive they have already given it enough thought :)

It can even be a paid area...anyone who wants to market to these opt-ins has to pay a monthly access fee or some kind of fee, i know i would pay it for sure.

sponsors may go for it but people looking for info never would.

i would much rather start a thread for what i'm looking for and then be done with it. last thing i'd do is opt in to a list and have the 'offers' keep rolling in long after i made my decision.
