How much would you pay for your own version of ABOUT.COM

ie., a very content heavy website that tackles thousands upon thousands of topics? Big money maker using direct ads and also Google Ad Sense?

Huh? Do CMS software come with loads and loads of unique content? Of your choice. I know of a great way of doing this Gene, I'll send you an email to see what you think and what the total cost could be.

It only takes one penny in a jar to be on your way to a million dollars.

Jayo 02-18-2005 07:00 PM

Id spend around 10 bucks, hahaha

ephint 02-18-2005 07:01 PM

crazy they have such a big adience .. when i see the about.com logo i mostly all the time close the window immidiatly

but to stay on topic .. since its a huge money maker..
more then i can afford..

and for the guy saying youre 7 yr's to late... i think is kind of right..
atleast if you are going to make another about.com clone;.

maybe it would be something nice if you have the content people are really looking for instead of what some prehistoric search function found :upsidedow

You really think you can do it? ...gezzz

Even if you (tried) copy all the content from their sites you wouldn't be able to do it

polish_aristocrat 02-19-2005 05:43 AM

I just typed in www.about.com in my browser for the 1st time in my life, never heard of them before.
