well it could make some sense..

when you give the surfer pics, he's gonna want movies... pics are definitely not enough to get off and he might join the site to get the movies.. especially if you use a sufficient sales text...
but if you give him clips, he might have a bigger chance to blow his load while watching them...

I just recently added movie galleries to my program and so far they're doing pretty well. I also did a lot of other changes at my program around same time as well, so hard to tell if it's the galleries themselves or a surge in affiliate push.
