Looking for good photoshop tutorials or books
 

Does anyone know of any good online photoshop tutorials or could someone recommend a good book for adobe photoshop 6. My skills are lacking in this department and I would really like to get better at it. Thanks

Such tutorials DO exist ... but I ain't about to tell you where to find them, so you can cut my throat ... look for them yourself.

I have been looking but I haven't found any good ones. I'm not looking for this to open a design shop, I just want to learn more so I can make some nice front ends for avs's

Photoshop tutorials are everywhere. If you haven't found any then you really haven't been looking. Search www.about.com and Google. I used to write tutorials for my fellow students in journalism class which I lovingly referred to as "Photoshop for freaking morons" and I know About has some useful toots.
If you got the dough then you might want to buy the cd-roms from LearnKey - great stuff.

Thanks, I had actually just found a bunch on about.com , I have looked into getting the learnkey product before but I am just not sure that I want to spend that kind of money on it for what I want to do; I'll have to look into purchasing it again though.

What do ya know. I could have sworn that it was almost a thousand bucks for that learnkey course but it's only $285.
