WTF is a Cronjob?
 

Please excuse my ignorance... but what the fuck does a cronjob do?

Again dont laugh...but can on be not working properly?

Is it an either "works" or "doesnt work" sort of thing?

similar to a blowjob, but you use a cron.

It's slang for "format c:"

scheduled task on your server

A cron job is kind of like a task manager. It will execute tasks at given times. It will either work or not work. There is no in between. Here's a good tutorial.

I think because it does a "job" in a "cron"-ological order. The tiem comes for a job to be executed, and the cronjob runs the command.

K now I am even more confused. In that article they call it a crontab.

I thought it was cronjob? wtf.
