Is it true about iBill?

Is their bank really fucking them and thats why rebills are screwed?

I wont cut and paste what I read as I automatically get grilled for being a gossiping whore mongering shit starter, but if you wish, go read Netpond. Its not pretty.

[Labret] 12-03-2001 04:14 AM

What do you mean wouldnt give you any info? In regards to bank problem? When rebilling will resume? If rebilling will resume? or they flat out not have any comment regarding the situation in general.

This is major shitty and to have no response from iBill makes my ass pucker.

I am used to the rebilling delays, but when half the days rebills just up and disappear in 24 hours time, that sucks.

Me neither, and if you looked yesterday and compared today, you will see that half of your rebills scheduled for today are gone.

I went from 500 rebills to 200. With NO rebills being done in the last three days.

Scary.

Dirty F 12-03-2001 04:33 AM

Yup, my rebills from the last few days didnt show up either.

dragonlady 12-03-2001 04:33 AM

yep - same problem - mine go back to Nov. 28th - and yes, rebills are dropping from report.

My rebill issues started on the 28th as well.

dragonlady 12-03-2001 04:37 AM

can u please cut & paste?

[Labret] 12-03-2001 04:39 AM

From Netpond. Person says they contacted them, others posting about missing rebills as well.

"This is a serious matter that all webmasters using IBILL need to look into. A few days ago i noticed that our re billing dropped and thought that it was just
another IBILL glitch, well after talking to them i find that there bank has stopped the rebelling process, producing what we they call a soft decline. In effect
this means Ibill have to resubmit you members re bills for up to 3 or 4 days until they are either accepted or declined permanently. To cut a long story short
the bank IBILL uses is clamping down on them and we as webmasters are suffering.
Suffering by a loss of revenue and by IBILL allowing members an extra 3 -4 days access to our sites without permission or payment."

I been processing signups as usual however, and thats good thing. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/smile.gif

dragonlady 12-03-2001 04:43 AM

thanks - scary stuff - I did notice that declines are being resubmitted several times more than normal.

dragonlady 12-03-2001 04:44 AM

yep - signups are going through, but what good is that if no rebills. This sucks big time!

quiet 12-03-2001 04:47 AM

no info as in call back later, not sure what is up.

I am down roughly 1000 rebills from the 28th to present. but like you say, signups are stronger than ever.

[Labret] 12-03-2001 04:50 AM

Perhaps I am ignorant in the means of card processing, but wouldnt you think it stands to reason that if you can initially charge the card you could uhhhhhmmm rebill it?

Maybe someone with a merchant account or Kimmy Kim (after she calls me a gossiping little man bitch) could elaborate more as to what may be happening?

TheFLY 12-03-2001 04:50 AM

Maybe all these rebills will be counted in "3-4 days" ???

I hope so ;)

Anyway what is all this talk on Netpond about COPA? Do we have to deal with COPA again? Christ!

Now that we are living under marshal law -- who knows!

They are not showing up as future rebills in my CMI. They just gone.

doeser 12-03-2001 07:28 AM

any one called ibill to get the infos directly from the source?

[i can't since my english language sucks]

signups are up big time, but rebills stopped at the 28th...it would be a big loss if they stop forever at my ibill account.

Sleepy 12-03-2001 07:53 AM

I called and they said the rebiller was
back logged. They also assured me that
there are no banking problems.
This is what happened two months ago if you
remember that whole thing.

The thing that pissed me off was that it
affected the final numbers of the last
billing period. I am told that money will
paid in the following pay period.

My Ibill rep is on West Coast time, I wont
really believe anything till I talk to him.
Regardless, if the bank was the problem I
dont think they would hide that because they
couldnt in the end.

Todays Monday so Im sure it will be cleared
up today, one way or another.

FreeOnes 12-03-2001 09:16 AM

Okay this sucks big time again http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/mad.gif This seems to result in another thousandS dollar lose. Don't they think they have hurt me ehough in the beginning of November?

As a general comment the threat of banks powing down on us for rebilling is very real. I'm certain more responsible practices will have to be adhered to in this industry (which sucks).

But this is common knowledge - For those who rake in 10k/USD + a month I'd recommend the backup option of an offshore processor.

Well, that's true http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/wink.gif

C'mon guys, I work at CCBill, I wouldn't have a clue what someone else is doing.

HOWEVER -- it would serve no purpose to IBill not to get it fixed, so I would imagine they are working as hard as they can to do so quickly.

Dirty F 05-03-2005 06:43 AM

you had more than enough warning and history on gfy to show that dealing with IBill is simply the worst move you can make - if you have a problem, dont blame them
