The Apprentice - are contestants getting dumber?
 

I don't understand how it's possible with larger numbers of people applying to be contestants each season, how the 18 selected keep getting dumber.

More chances to get drama out of them. This season proves it :)

I was thinking "something food" from the get go. Although that was probably the most expected use for it.

Anyway, the idiot that got fired deserved it so bad, it was very satisfying to see him get fired like he did.

They picked no ivy leaguers, more parents, more poor people. What do you expect

The casting directors purposely choose people that they know will not win, but will be good for drama.

The apprentice is really only a contest between about 4 people. The others are just there to create drama for the majority of the season.

Other than being the UGLIEST group to be on, not one of them has impressed me with ANY real business skills.

Trump should fire them all now and save himself a bunch of money! Of course, NBC would sue his butt off! :1orglaugh

One reason I said "Based on what I've seen so far" is because there hasn't been equal camera time given to all the people, so some people are still a question.

I think Alex and Craig might also make it to the final few, but it's hard to say because we haven't seen much from them yet.
