MAJOR PAIN... please help!!
 

Has anyone ever had a wisdom tooth removed? I'm not talking, just pulling it, I had the upper left pulled out, wasnt bad, was eating later that night on the right side.

This one is a lower right one, and its not all the way thru the gums, and they say the roots are sideways so it won't come up, and they will go in and get it.

WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN? So they cut my gums, then what, break it apart and pull it out... oh fucking joy! Anyone had this done? Does it hurt, is it excruciating? Should I buy some good drugs and do it up before I go in?

KEEP IN MIND, IM A GIRL! Don't go calling me a fag or a wuss! lol I'm serious, how bad is this gonna be? Should I postpone it until I have a few days to lay around, or is it gonna be not that bad?

Its really not that bad, i had all four pulled out at once. sometimes the wisdom teeth is not all the way out, then a oral surgeon comes in cuts it apart, break it and pull out the peices.

They gave me a couple shots of anesthesia and I didn't feel a thing during the full time. Afterwards I had some vicodin for the first few days and when I got off it it only hurted alil for a few days and my face swelled up.

either way just make sure u get some decent painkillers and u will be fine, trust me. It just seems scary but not really

Well i would just get it done as soon as possible, its only bad for the first like 2 days when your face swells up and u can't really eat solids but other than that its no biggie :2 cents:

thanks :( the left upper wasnt so bad, considering when they took it out, i had let it go, cause i hate needles and blood, etc, so i let it come in when there wasnt room, and it smashed the back side off of my molar, and knocked out the filling, so i was in AGONY!! Popping darvecet, advil, tylenol, aleve, and codeine around the clock, til even that only dulled the pain for a few hrs. Finally I went in, had them take out the wisdom & molar at the same time, it was over in a few mins, he numbed me up, which I'm told the roof of your mouth is worse to numb, so had that one was ok. I was eating later that night on the opposite side. But this one on the bottom right isn't THRU the gums yet, only like 1/5 of the way in, so I'm guessing they will cut my gums to get to it? then i imagine i'll have stitches, i didnt get any on the other side. I just hate needles, blood, surgery... :( my doctor is hot though, the last time he said "no sucking for a week" and i started to say "does that" and my mom said "CHRISTINA MARIE DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!" guess she knew I was gonna make a bj comment :( sorry mom, what can I say, it was the anesthesia , codeine, naproxin, and darvecet talking... plus he sent me home with vicodin, said take some in 4 hrs, i had those babies in my mouth before i hit the car! :)
